It all began back in 1979 when Brian had a dream of selling rare rabbit rumps from a little shop high in the hills of suburban Sydney — back in the day when “potato-slaw” was cool.
Whilst customers weren’t fans of the pickled pheasant (come on, it was the 70s) — they lined up in droves to take home our gourmet soups, and salads — which is how we first became famous!
After starting this craze for pre-packed salads, we spent the next 35yrs exploring many a culinary frontier to create the wild, the weird and oh, the wonderful for some of Sydney’s finest establishments.
At the end of the day, we eat, live and breathe fresh, delicious, nutritious food and love nothing more than grabbing our gumboots, finding the freshest local produce and cooking up a feast for the people we love.
This is not just ‘another’ soup — it’s a bowl full of life, love and passion for all things naturally yum!
